Cross-regulatory cooperation

The EDPB and DPAs engage in cross-regulatory cooperation with other regulators such as competition, consumer protection, telecommunications authorities and, the European Commission, including in the context of the Digital Markets Act, the Digital Services Act and the AI Act. This collaborative approach aims to ensure a consistent application of EU law in areas where legal obligations sometime overlap, and to foster a cohesive regulatory approach across Europe.
