Register of consistency and of accountability tools

The consistency mechanism at EDPB level ensures that certain national decisions adopted by data protection authorities are consistent with one another and with the interpretation of the GDPR shared by all data protection authorities. In this context, the EDPB issues opinions and binding decisions on draft decisions of supervisory authorities.
This page provides a register of the issues handled under the consistency mechanism. It collects the EDPB consistency opinions and binding decisions, as well as decisions by supervisory authorities and courts (Article 70(1)(y) GDPR).
The register also includes information on national codes of conduct approved without the intervention of the EDPB.
