Codes of conduct

Adherence to an approved code of conduct helps organisations to put in place a structured approach to their GDPR compliance.

This register provides an overview of:

  • approved codes of conduct with a transnational scope, including  their amendments and extensions (Art. 40(11) GDPR), adaopted following an EDPB opinion (Art. 40(5) and 40(7) GDPR)
  • approved requirements for the accreditation of code of conduct monitoring bodies (Art. 41(3) GDPR)
  • approved codes of conduct with a national scope, including their amendments and extensions (Art. 40(11) GDPR), adopted without the intervention of the EDPB, in line with Article 40(6) GDPR.
