Sertifitseerimismehhanismid ning andmekaitsepitserid ja -märgised

Sertifitseerimine on vabatahtlik vahend, mis aitab organisatsioonidel tagada ja tõendada vastavust isikuandmete kaitse üldmäärusele.
See register annab ülevaate olemasolevatest sertifitseerimismehhanismidest ning andmekaitsepitseritest ja -märgistest, mille pädevad andmekaitseasutused on välja andnud Euroopa Andmekaitsenõukogu arvamuse alusel (isikuandmete kaitse üldmääruse artikli 42 lõiked 5 ja 8), sealhulgas juhul, kui tegemist on Euroopa andmekaitsepitseriga.
Samuti on selles loetletud sertifitseerimisasutuste akrediteerimise heakskiidetud nõuded (isikuandmete kaitse üldmääruse artikli 43 lõige 3).
