Yrityksiä sitovat säännöt

Yrityksiä sitovat säännöt ovat väline, jonka avulla konserni tai yhteistä taloudellista toimintaa harjoittava yritysryhmä voi varmistaa asianmukaiset suojatoimet henkilötietojen siirrossa kolmansiin maihin.
Tässä rekisterissä esitetään yleiskatsaus hyväksytyistä yrityksiä sitovista säännöistä. Jos yrityksiä sitovat säännöt on hyväksytty yleisen tietosuoja-asetuksen soveltamisen alkamisen (25. toukokuuta 2018) jälkeen, annetaan linkit tietosuojaneuvoston lausuntoon ja tietosuojaviranomaisen kansalliseen päätökseen.
Yleiskatsaus annetaan ainoastaan tiedoksi. Organisaatioiden on ilmoitettava toimivaltaisille tietosuojaviranomaisille yrityksiä sitovien sääntöjen muutoksista. Yleiskatsausta päivitetään organisaatioiden toimivaltaisille tietosuojaviranomaisille toimittamien tietojen perusteella.
Kun kyse on henkilöryhmistä henkilötietojen käsittelijöitä koskevien yrityksiä sitovien sääntöjen tapauksessa, tietoluokat liittyvät tietoihin, joita käsitellään konsernin ulkopuolisten rekisterinpitäjien puolesta. Organisaatioiden, jotka käyttävät yrityksiä sitovia sääntöjä tiedonsiirroissa, on annettava kyseiset säännöt helposti ihmisten saataville. Yrityksiä sitovista säännöistä saa lisätietoja asianomaiselta organisaatiolta.
