Cybersecurity is the practice of safeguarding computer systems, networks, and data against attacks, unauthorised access, and other threats. It involves using a range of technologies, procedures, and policies to maintain the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data and systems.
The EDPB includes cybersecurity aspects in its guidance to help prevent or reduce the risks and impacts of such events on individuals.
