Pravica do zasebnosti v digitalnem svetu
V digitalni dobi, v kateri živimo in v kateri se informacije nenehno delijo, zbirajo in obdelujejo, so potrebna jasna in stroga pravila za varstvo podatkov. Z njimi se zagotavlja, da posameznik ohrani nadzor nad svojimi podatki ter varuje svojo osebno svobodo, samostojnost in svobodo izražanja. Pravila o varstvu podatkov so ključna tudi za preprečevanje zlorab, nedovoljenega dostopa, kraje identitete in manipulacije. Močni zaščitni ukrepi za varstvo podatkov krepijo zaupanje v spletne storitve.
