Décision contraignante 4/2022 relative au litige soumis par l’autorité de contrôle irlandaise concernant Meta Platforms Ireland Limited et son service Instagram (article 65 du RGPD) Adoptée

The EDPB Binding Decision 4/2022 relates to a complaint-based inquiry on the lawfulness and transparency of processing for behavioural advertising in the context of the Instagram service and addresses several questions including, in particular, whether the processing of personal data for the performance of a contract is a suitable legal basis for behavioural advertising.
