Examples of personal data include:

- an Internet Protocol (IP) address;
- a cookie ID;
- bank accounts;
- tax reports;
- biometric data (like fingerprint);
- a social security number;
- passport number;
- test results;
- grades in school;
- browsing history;
- photograph of individual;
- vehicle registration number etc.
