The EDPB Binding Decision 1/2026 relates to a complaint-based case. It addresses whether the complaint needed to be dismissed on the basis of an abuse of the right to lodge a complaint and of the right to mandate a not-for-profit body, organisation or association to lodge a complaint on the complainant’s behalf.
